Designed for a 1st course in strength of materials, Applied Strength of Materials 6th edition – SI units version (PDF) has long been the bestseller for Engineering and Technology programs because of its comprehensive coverage, and its emphasis on applications, sound fundamentals, and real world problem-solving techniques. The combination of clear and consistent problem-solving techniques, many end-of-chapter problems, and the integration of both design and analysis approaches to strength of materials principles prepares college students for professional practice or subsequent courses. The fully updated 6th edition, built around an educational philosophy that stresses postive and active learning, consistent reinforcement of key concepts, and a strong visual component, Applied Strength of Materials 6e PDF (SI units version) continues to offer the readers the most understandable and thorough approach to mechanics of materials.

Colour graphics support visual learning, and illustrate applications and concepts. Numerous instructor resources are offered (separately), including a Solutions Manual, Figure Slides of book figures, PowerPoint slides, and extra problems. With SI units used exclusively, this etextbook is ideal for all Engineering and Technology programs outside the USA.
